Okay, I’m finally working on an update script for my game. It’s written in Python and may not be the prettiest thing on earth. This script will check if the media packages on this site are newer or different than yours, and if they are, download whichever ones must be downloaded. I’ll later expand this to be the same for the binaries. This will hopefully improve the people living off of the Subversion revision (Practically everybody haha). Since it’s written in python, it should work with every Operating System the game supports; Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows to name a few. For Windows, you’ll have to download and install Python, and have wget, simply put the wget.exe file in the same folder the script is in, or in your system32 folder if you know anything about that. Then simply double click on the script and it should run.
