So it’s now 2008. 2007 was a pretty cool year for me. I started working out the same day I got my guitar: The day before I turned 17, February 3rd. This year I’ve also been doing really well in school and stuff. Continue Reading
I just got a message that I was admitted into San José State University. I only applied to it because it’s close to Silicon Valley (Its motto is Powering Silicon Valley). In fact, according to this:
The urban campus in San Jose, California, USA has an enrollment of about 30,000 students and claims to have more graduates working in Silicon Valley than any other college or university.
Not too bad. Here are some other things I found:
-Ranked #2 nationally among master’s degree level public institutions in the US by U.S. News & World Report
-Founding member of the national Cybersecurity Research Center (TRUST) … And of the NISA Center
-World finalist team in the Microsoft Embedded Systems Challenge
-Supported by Intel, Cadence, Xilinx, Cisco, Oracle, Sun, BEA, IBM, Microsoft,…
I don’t know if I’ll go there yet though, it’s too far away haha. Their Computer Science page sucks, but I guess that shouldn’t say much, hopefully. Here are their Computer Science B.S. Major’s requirements. They were the first Cal State campus.
