I just learned what SEO means today in an IRC channel, randomly! The funny thing is, I was doing it in the background, at the same time that I was asking a question on something else that this guy responded to me saying something like “Yeah I’ve been trying to do SEO to my site aswell”, and it wasn’t even what I asked, so I asked him what SEO meant, and I found out it was “Search Engine Optimization”, aww man my fingers are starting to feel weird. This reminds me of those crazy days when I used to do a million things at once and, man it was crazy, but my fingers got heated up one time it felt like they were on fire (exaggeration of course, but they really did feel hot) after typing for hours on end and doing all sorts of stuff, anyways sorry about digressing. But anyways, I didn’t realize that I actually was doing SEO in the background, so it felt weird.
Anyways, I went to yahoo.com and I found out that by searching for my name, I’m result 2 and 4. Result 2 is the main site, and result 4 is my ‘extremely quickly became popular, and always has been’ Binary and Hexadecimal tutorial. I have over 80 percent of my visitors coming from wikipedia, and I just submitted a sitemap to google, not to mention the things I’ve been doing with Google Analytics. If you check the ‘users online’ page, there’s almost always some type of bot here haha, technorati, msn, yahoo, google, whatever. It sucks though cause the best (of course) and my favorite, google, doesn’t seem to like me yet. But of course that’s obvious and logical, it’s because google is the best that I haven’t gotten up there yet, so I’m not whining. Hopefully I start climbing up though. MSN and Yahoo seem to realize that they are losing to google that they’re crawling every corner of the web haha (not true). Anyways, just thought I’d say that cause you know me I’m random HAHA, anyways, speaking about random, you like the random taglines up top? Nice huh

OH NICE! I’m the first result for my name in msn.com! wooo! The fifth result is The Instagib Project. Wow, the sixth is my svn repository haha (http://svn.blaenkdenum.com/websvn).
A search for “The Instagib Project” in msn comes up with the home page as the first result.
Man my “Binary and Hexadecimal” tutorial is showing up everywhere and I just posted it like a couple days ago, it also shows up like 4th if you search google for “Binary and Hexadecimal jinx”.
