I just recently found a site called Cracked that write great articles, I mean, every single thing they write is pure awesome. They usually right lists, like 6 Video Game Gimmicks That Went Away Too Soon (And 6 More That Need to Die), things people from places like Digg are tired of. However, despite this, pretty much ever single thing Cracked writes ends up getting at least 1000 diggs but usually over that.
They have a very nice way of writing, in fact it’s my preferred type of writing. It’s the type of writing where it’s well written, but isn’t too formal or strict that it makes things boring and tasteless. They also seem to have a way to tie in emotions into things very nicely. Anyways, it’s their way of writing which I think is what wins many readers, not necessarily the content. With that type of writing, they can make any content interesting, whether or not we necessarily agree with it (But I find myself usually agreeing).
This is one of the coolest sites I have ever been too. Did you see the “The 9 Manliest Names in the World” column? Thats some funny stuff. What makes it even funnier is that its true.
Yeah I love that frickin site, I love their style.
