Alright today I did the usual. The cool thing is that the ON Gold Standard – Double Chocolate Whey Protein that I ordered arrived today. I also received some Harbinger Padded Push Up Bars I ordered. I wouldn’t have ordered them but like I mentioned in my previous post, it was becoming uncomfortable to do push ups and I didn’t have anything else I could use. These bars are comfortable and let me do push ups more efficiently with better form, in my opinion. I listened to a few songs which I will soon post on the site, but then I put on the Hardcore stream from DI.FM (Digitally Imported Radio). I went to listen to the radio today and learned that my subscription had ended haha, so I went and paid for another month and instantly I could listen to my favorite radio again :) I frickin love DI.FM. I put two scoops of the whey in approximately 16 ounces of water and two ice cubes, then put them in the blender. This resulted in a really nice, thick/smooth shake, like 3 or 4 cups I don’t remember. Was really good, I mean, it’s not like you drink whey for the taste haha but it definitely beat the other vanilla whey I had tried last year. This stuff went down without a hitch and it blended really well.

Oh, and a while back while looking for hardcore music videos on youtube I found one of Darren Styles doing You’re My Angel live. It’s Styles & Breeze – You’re My Angel (Clubland Live). Aside from the alright song (It’s a lot slower in this video since it’s live, check out the original version here), I really liked the hoody that Darren had haha. After hours of searching for the hoody online, I did the obvious and typed in ‘hoodie purple striped’ and it showed up in google images, on the very bottom of the first page, haha. It turns out it’s an American Apparel Striped Fleece Zip Hoody. I ordered a purple one from Amazon and it arrived today, I love it :D

Alright today was a pretty cool work out, it’s definitely getting better each time. Once done I ate two frickin delicious apples. I know that’s random and probably irrelevant, but I like me some fresh fruit right after working out. It quenches my thirst in a way that water can’t do on its own.

Today I renewed my interest in Trance music, I had forgotten how dynamic and soothing it was. It’s definitely not as fast as hardcore, way slower BPM, but it’s still very good music and it doesn’t feel like it’s too slow where you’re like ‘okay go a bit faster please’. It’s really cool and relaxed, fresh. Like I said it’s really dynamic. So like hardcore might have a focus on bass (Many times, not always), or hardstyle on yelling with a high BPM base, but trance…you can never really define it. It’s just free, a mixture of emotions at a natural and dynamic pace. But I’m in a hardcore/hard dance phase purposely; it keeps me energized and awake. It’s definitely awesome to zone out with Trance music, it really boosts my creativity, but at the moment I think more energetic music is what I need. That’s not to say Trance can’t be energetic, like I said, it’s dynamic. But for the most part it focuses on being relaxed and cool. Anyways, I added some of the tracks I used to love a few months back onto my iPhone, since I mostly only had hard trance and hardcore. I’m really interested in working at a club on intelligent lighting. If the opportunity ever presents itself (Not directly but one that might lead to that) I’m definitely going to take it, and I’m also going to investigate on my own. I’m dead serious about it. I have all these notes written up about it and all haha.

Alright I better go finish my Java class program to turn it in before the deadline at 12, and study for my math test that’s tomorrow.

What I'm Listening To: Hardcore 02-23-09

As I said in the other post, I just recently discovered Hardcore music and it’s frickin awesome. It’s got a constantly high BPM and it’s more EDM than trance in my opinion. I’ve listened to it for three days straight and each day it’s kept me pumped the whole time I listened to it. It’s really amazing. I guess if you don’t like it is cause I gradually went from slow stuff to faster and faster (Electronic/Techno > Trance > Uplifting > Progressive > Hard Trance > Hardcore), so I’ve gotten used to it. Take a listen to them and at least listen until you hear the first climax of each song (The part where it gets insanely crazy). Some Hardcore songs have too many vocals and I’m not really into that (Not vocals in general, but vocals in hardcore music). Some of these have them but it’s not that much or the climax parts out-weight them. Today I had the second day of working out with this music and it was INSANE, I frickin loved it.
