Most of you know that my online alias or whatever is “Blank Denim“. The reason I like it is because of the sound. I initially only had “Blank” as my name, but I figured I’d add a last name to it, and I liked the way “Blank Denim” sounded, not that I actually like anything having to do with literal “Blank Denim”, that is if it even exists. When spideybry visited me he said it would be something like white denim from the 80s or something, I’m obviously not into that. So since I’m into the name, and because “Blank” might sound weird in the real world as well, I came up with “Blaenk Denum“.
If I ever need a name for something like say if I was some type of designer and I wanted to come up with a name for my line (I’m not talking about clothes by the way, anything in general haha), Blaenk Denum would seem pretty cool. I think it’s a lot less susceptible to mispronunciation in foreign countries. For example, in Spanish speaking countries they might have said it as “Blahnk Deneem”, or in French speaking, as “Blanc Deneem”. Now it’ll sound a bit more as it is intended to sound, and the sound in English is still the same without the unnecessary connotation.
As far as uniqueness goes, I just Google Searched “Blaenk Denum”, and there were no results whatsoever, and I’m so frickin glad too. I’m wondering if I’ll switch over to Blaenk Denum completely, or if I’ll only use it for productions and stuff, and keep Blank Denim as my alias for things like games and IRC and stuff like that.
