I forgot to write this yesterday, but I did work out yesterday :) and I also forgot to write an entry for the other day as well. Instead of just saying screw it I’ll do it next time, I decided to write one now so that I wouldn’t get deeper into forgetting to write these. Yesterday it was pretty frickin cold but I managed. After about 3 minutes of warming up, well, I was warmed up haha. My brother screwed up the cables from when he tried to use it the day before so I spent a while trying to get them fixed. Eventually I got things working but now the cables are even worse, putting even way more friction on the pulleys meaning I need more strength. Coincidentally though yesterday I was also really pumped up for some reason and it was like nothing, really easy.
So as time progresses, doing this setup (I’m already doing all the weights + the friction of the cables; they’re really screwed up/torn and not very flexible, so it’s a lot of friction) will get a lot easier. Therefore I’m looking to buy a bench and a weight set. I didn’t have the money to do so before, but now I do and at least now I’ll be ready for it. I’m thinking that’ll be sometime in January or early February. As it is now, the initial lift/pull is pretty difficult, it’s after that that it’s really easy. We’ll see how things go.
