Workout Log: 5-9-8

Today I went for 40 something minutes. I was really tired and I’ve been really tired because I have barely had any sleep this whole week cause of the AP test among other things. I wanted to work out anyways though and to my surprise while working out I didn’t feel weak or anything, or at all sleepy, I actually felt pretty strong compared to most days. I listened to Joe Satriani mainly today but already I’m getting tired of the music, it’s not that his music sucks it’s just that I haven’t really heard a lot of it so the only music I’ve been listening to is the same ~3 songs over and over again haha. So yeah I got tired of that and I put on Had Enough by Breaking Benjamin and, what was it again…oh yeah All Things Will End by Avenged Sevenfold. To finish it off, I listened a song that I haven’t listened to in a while, which, as with Had Enough, I began working out to: Everlong by Foo Fighters. After all this I had just the flyes left but I didn’t feel like looking for a song so I just turned off the iPod and continued. It felt so weird not working out to music, even if it was only for 20 seconds, especially the sound of the workout machine. Oh yeah and then right after I ate an apple cause I felt thirsty but the water didn’t really fill me up plus I needed some flavor, hah.

Updated CS:S and TF:2 No Blood Installers to Version 1.1

There was a problem in the installers, both of them. Even if one installed to the correct folder, which was materials, it would append \steamapps to the installation path. This was fixed by editing the NSIS script and adding a \ to the end of the default installation path. Here are some of the changes:

  • New icon for the installers (CS:S Icon for the CS:S No Blood and TF2 Icon for the TF2 No Blood)
  • Option of removing blood on walls, blood splashes, or both
  • Now one installs by simply installing to their account folder (i.e. Program Files\Steam\steamapps\blanksteam)
  • Removed the unnecessary start menu folder and short cuts. Installation can now be done through Add / Remove Programs

This should make things a lot easier. If you have any questions please post on the respective patch’s page. Hope it’s an improvement, to me it seems like it is!

Workout Log: 5-7-8

Today I went for frickin 50 minutes without realizing it. I’ve gotten some more music, a lot of music from Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, they’re frickin amazing. I’ve found some other artists too but I haven’t gotten any music from them yet. These guys are guitar virtuosos (In other words, super mega hyper extreeeeeeme guitar masters), that’s not my personal opinion, that’s literally what they’re tagged as. It’s mostly instrumental but there’s tons of crazy songs from them.
