Man that was crazy…first two circuits used full plates. But that’s not all. I finally got a new hook for the leg extension part, which broke. What happened was that I was doing leg extensions one time after I had added an extra plate. The force of the weights, friction of the worn out cables, and chains on that one hook eventually overcame it. It bend open and literally broke off, bringing the weights to slam down to the ground. Because of this I hadn’t done leg extensions in a while. Anyways I got a new hook, thicker/stronger (This one isn’t as open so it’ll be harder to break). I did full plates (All except the last one) for everything on the first two circuits. I mean I did everything, even those random pulls on the press bars after leg extensions to warm up my arms. Anyways, the last circuit I took off one of the plates.
It’s weird because it felt like nothing, I mean it literally felt like I didn’t have any plates on. When I first started going this when I was at like 3 or 4 plates, I would take one off occasionally and it would just feel a little lighter, but this literally felt like I wasn’t doing anything, and to think that just a few weeks ago it felt like I’d never get to this point.
But man, that was a crazy work out. Ended up lasting 40 minutes when just yesterday I was having trouble reaching 30 because it was getting too easy (Especially since I wasn’t doing leg extensions). I was listening to some Dubmood in the beginning so that was pretty cool. I really like the songs with Stalker – fucked up at Dreamhack2001, ninjaflood starts school (z00m^TCG AYedit), and with zabutom – Love demo (Fyllecell Teenage Riot 4).
For those of you who don’t know, Dubmood does chiptune music, which is the type of music you usually hear in key generators. He’s really popular and usually does music for Razor1911 (He’s in Razor1911 if I’m not mistaken) and many other crazy scene groups out there. Furthermore, for those of you who didn’t know, scene groups are more than just trying to put releases out, it’s much more than that. They recruit artists, musicians, and much more. They have this form of art called demo or something, they call it the demoscene. The art in it involves an exe with a visualization (A cool one, not just a visualization plug-in in your typical media player) with chiptune music or other electronic music. It’s really cool, I just saw my first one and it really is awesome. It’s like…I never knew something like this existed. I’m really new to this so I could be wrong in some parts, but I’m really interested and will fill you guys in on more of this later on. Man, the more I learn about the scene the more I fall in love with Internet Culture.
