Okay, so those two other things, as I thought, didn’t work. Spam bots are written so well these days they can easily parse anything you throw at them. So, I came up with a funny yet effective question: What is my first name? It’s all over the site, but I guess they can’t figure it out. Take a look for yourself, there’s no more spam at all: here.

I finally created a frickin favicon, after a whole year and then some. I got sick and tired of people spamming my paste bin, so I created two primitive anti-spam methods. One generates a 6 digit hex key which you type in (Unfortunately, not a CAPTCHA), another one simply generates a basic math question and you have to input the correct answer. Spam bots are pretty sophisticated these days, and they could easily be written to overcome these (Heck they even overcome some CAPTCHAs). If that happens, I have one last idea to implement, but I won’t do it unless it’s absolutely necessary. The paste ID was going up to like 120,000 or something, and all thanks to spam. I deleted all the spam and brought the auto-increment key back down to like 241. Continue Reading

I’m on an acoustic steel string guitar so I have to improvise, I’m new to the whole guitar scene so my improvising methods might not be the best. Continue Reading
